The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System and Prince George’s County Office of Human Rights held a virtual panel discussion, Freedom Stories: Community Freedom Suits and the Law, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
The Honorable Sean D. Wallace, Judge, Circuit Court, Seventh Circuit of Maryland; Renee Battle-Brooks, Executive Director, Prince George’s County Office of Human Rights; and our lead attorney Gabriel J. Christian, Esquire discussed freedom stories and the law and how it impacted Prince George’s County Marylanders in the 1700s and into our present day. The book of discussion, A Question of Freedom: The Families Who Challenge Their Freedom from the Founding to the Nation’s Civil War was written by William G. Thomas, III.
See how history and the judicial system has impacted the past and will impact the present and future. It is a must-see event!
Where can I start? From the very first visit, the law offices of Gabriel Christian were warm & very comforting. Gabriel was very honest, upfront & candid with us. I trust this attorney & I cannot express my sincerest, heart-felt warm thanks for him & his staff. He represented our son's case impressively!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Mr. Christian works for you and with you; holding your hand to the end. His intelligence and foresight are comforting. Mr. Christian and his highly trained staff treated me and my family like we were part of his family. If I called and Mr. Christian was in court his staff answered and provided answers to my questions; and alleviated my fears. He worked with my budget and I will be hiring him again to assist my brother in family court. May God Bless him and his staff.
